Almost half a million first-year students will be packing their bags this September and waving goodbye.

Employers are looking for people who are well-rounded and have made the most of their experience at higher education
  • three different modals
Parents can help their child by providing a few basic cooking recipes, suggesting they enrol with a local doctor and discussing how to budget on limited funds.

It may seem scary to have so much time that you don’t know what to do with it

Students often think their grant will be there on day one

  • conditional
“I think once my son had settled in, hanging around made it worst
  • If things go wrong, use the support services. Don’t be scared: there are tutors and counselors who can help. Don’t leave problems until they are critical.

    • Past perfect tens

He got embarrassed I was still there, which made it more upsetting.”

Issues in English 2 is a learning software program for student who are studying English as a second language(NEST learners/ESL student). there are four different levels that student can choose.
They can choose one of the seven topic such as education , language, Technology, Sport, ...

Each level and each topic consist of different activities and task listening, reading, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and writing.

I went through the topics and I have done some exercises from level 4 at the section of Languages.

I was wondering in good instruction to follow of getting started section and the more exciting part, was the Spelling and I figured out that I am good at spelling. Moreover, that was very useful.

The next part that I have enjoyed, it was the listening. I have listened through the text and I did the exercises at the same time, like listening cloze and identify error.

At the vocabulary part I've only done the opposite meaning and I was wondering to do some exercises from Ordering but it was enable to type at that section

The most helpful and useful part was the grammar, I have done some exercise about the passive/present perfect tenses, which helps me a lot to learn and remember the grammar's structure easily.  However, I didn't like the writing section because typing makes me bored.
Then, I found the question tags a little bit difficult so, I didn't practice in that part.
And  for the other exercises, I found them easy. I just gone through them and skim the questions and answers.
Totally there wasn't any confusing instruction. It is an excellent learning program software with good and simple instruction to follow.

Internet safety

According to the Breaking News English  that I listened to, it said that people are not ready for using the internet for everything in their life yet;.

And company Gartner predicts that by 2020 nearly 26 billion of devises will be work with the internet and this matter will have pros and cons. For example the fridge will simply contact the delivery service when it is empty or need more groceries and you do not have to go to the shopping.

One of the disadvantages of the Internet is that it could make problems with the explosion in the number of connected devices and  Gib Sorebo predicts that privacy will become a primary concern because of the huge number of things in our daily life that will be connected to the Internet.
